I joined one other forum and I guess I was just expecting the same response, but I just realized this site probably has 1/10th or less members. All good. Posted it in her thinking it might be seen by a larger crowd and have more of a response....I think I fucked up there

Fatbat it's a a Dakota digital speedo. Paid $450 for it to my door off eBay, Rollie's speed shop in brissy does them for around $500. It's got everything, I could even come close to remembering everything in it. Anything from temp sensors to setting up those temp with warnings at whatever you chose to 1/4 mile timer, to everything you could possibly want to monitor on a bike, then you can adjust it all from there. Just a simple plug in and go, took my all of 5 min to put in. Seriously good bit of gear. Also comes in Red digital, and you have a choice of a flat black bezel or chrome. Go over to dakota digital website and have a look

I would have different pipes but i'm an upswept fishies fan (a set of black fishies would look shit hot on that !)

An 08 Nightrain...all stock on the intake side. Thinkin it was a Monday bike.... cause it hauls compaired to brothers modified bike.

Is booked in for the Shotgun treatment..

That's a clean looking train Dezza, got to be proud of that. Have to say in pretty jealous about the shotgun upgrade, that would be my next mod when I can get the coin together

Well I fitted a couple of parts, swapped original exhaust for V and H Short Shots. New risers, 8 1/2 inch pulled back an inch from the top.

The exhaust swap was easy enough although I initially installed the smartpartz baffles with the V and H Quiet baffles but is was a little to quiet for my liking, so I removed the smartpartz baffles.

The thread was buggered when my risers arrived, I think the tap may have been worn when it got made which didn't help my fittment, so I cleaned it out with the same size tap and got it repaired.

 

Looks good Ryno. Best way to quieten it down when needed is by the throttle I reckon. What's next on the mods list?

Not sure yet, although the missus wants a sundowner seat for getting around, I think I will replace the plastic on the tank with leather, then maybe an airbrush on the tank.

That's good she's keen, makes it easier to go for rides with out questions. My misses wants a Harley for herself, want to help her get her one before she hits 30 in a couple years. Be great to have a bike each as I'm not a fan of long distance two up riding

Those street 500's look good as a learner for a chick. I don't think you would see any of the usual crowd on one though haha.
