I've actually got a set off black floating roators on the shelf, I didnt put them on because the floating rotors only paint a small area black instead of all the way to the pad contact area, and upgainst that much black it really stands out.

Defintely throw some pics up mate keen to see it

Yeah it`s deceiving sometimes in pictures how close things look .

If your better half is anything like mine , she will get some enjoyment in getting new riding gear ... the main thing does she like to get out for rides with ya ...

Lately mine is getting up me because we don`t get out enough ... if I`m not out riding enough I`m spending to much time in the garage playing with the toys , can`t win , Lol .

Ok fellas the entire front from the bars to the wheel is for sale, and the entire rear (swing arm, wheel fender, lights etc is for sale too. The seat a pavilion are to go also. S&S tube bore A/C and the other HD black mag wheel (21x2.15 with a 90/90 tyre is still packed away for sale

id like to sell the trees/tubes/sliders as one. They are the accutronix billet trees 22.25" fork tubes (-2 under stock fxstb) with progressive drop ins that can be adjustaded between a 1"to 2" drop. I also have near new stock length fork tunes (24.25";) and genuine HD 1" lowered springs. So if you'd like a different combo with the front end, I can change them over for you, or you can take the lot for a good price and mess around with it all yourself. The trees to have a small dent in the top tree, it came like that and Accutronix wiped there hands clean of it.

The seats are both Drag specialties, both in excellent condition. The pavilion only being used for about 100km.

Front wheel is RC components holeshot in 21x3.5" with a perilli 120/70 tyre, also have a mezeler 140/70/21, both have barely worn the wear knobs off them they are that new.

The bars are BR Customs I had made up for the bike 1.5" thick drops back to 1" at risers, 14" high. There are two sets of risers as well. Grips, switches, brakes, indicators, fenders, brake light, struts, bullet headlamp etc etc all for sale, just PM me for more details or with offers on anything you want.

TJU seeing your tastes I think you're going like this one. Going for nostalgic look, think old wire wheels in 15 and 16", Shinko front tyre with a 230 rear tyre, fenders, spring seat, chain drive, clean bars, custom made springer front end etc etc. and very low flat track stance.

Gidday Squid ... looks like the beginning of a very interesting project ... have to ask , is that a Genuine HD Springer front end and if so what year is it ... looks nice and clean and lean ...

the OEM front ends are bloody heavy compared to the telescopic ones ... don`t know if it helps or not but I worked out eventually why my front end has a bit of a buzz through the bars ...

when I decided to change the standard top triple tree to a V.Twin brand one that allowed me a greater option of bar choices I didn`t realise that I would have to have the bars solid mounted
if you know what I mean ... on most OEM top triple trees there is the space where the risers go that have the rubber mounts inside the triple tree ... the V.Twin one I went with does not so it
is a straight bolt up solid metal to solid metal ... took me ages to realise it ... just thought that was what a Springer front end felt like , Lol .

Of course if you stay with the Original Springer top triple tree you get to use the standard rubber mounts that should do away with the Buzz I get ... and this day and age there would be
more choices for Springer bars I would imagine .

Keep those pics coming ... hope your not getting to flooded out where you are ... pissing down here in Logan for our lovely Aussie Day Weekend ... Bloody Bosses weather .

    Tim .

Hey mate hope you are well.

It's a custom made springer by the guys at Led Sled Customs. About 4.5" under stock. It doesn't have the rubber so I'll be enjoying that feeling through the bars! Lol

I'm really loving a few springer bars that I'm actually having a hard time choosing between 3. I like that a lot of the bars offered are narrower.

I've just moved to Townsville North QLD permanently a month ago, well at least for a year. Been pissing down up here too mate, but faarrrk its hot. Missing that nice weather down there

Gidday Squid ... i`ll post a couple of pics anyhow so you can go back and reference if you want at any time .

Have a gander at HHI ... Hawg Halters Inc ... they have some pretty tasty looking calipers as well ... and no logo`s ... and even have proper Springer ones

Not sure if all there calipers have this other gimick but they have on some a thing called road lock ... i think ... a key lock built into the caliper

that locks the caliper to the disk , pretty hard to pick the lock as well ... would be good for that anti scumbag deterant .

Finnaly got the old Springer on the Dyno after a few little mods ... standard from the factory they come out at about 58 Hp or there abouts for the 80 cube 1340

now have her up to 81 Hp and 88 Torque ... Andrew Ev3 Cam  ... S&S 76cc Heads ... Mukuni 42 Mil Carb ... Daytona Twin Tech Single Fire Ignition ...

Andrews adjustable pusrods ... Fueling Lifters ... Screaming Eagle plug leads ... Freedom 2 into 1`s ... and High flow air filter .

Thats it motor wise for the old girl ... for now , Lol ... back to the Twin Cam to sort the rest of that beast out , trying some new pipes soon

to see if i can get her above the 100 ponies i have now ... Bloody addictions , Lol ... cheers , hope you are having a great Aussie Day weekend .

Thanks mate, really appreciate the pics and info.

Reason why I was asking is not that I was worried about having a logo, it was because the brake hanger I want to use meant I'd have to flip the caliper to have the logo facing into the wheel. All good though I've decided I'll just run it opposite side so it all sits the right way

Bloody humid here, I can't stand this type of heat, it just zaps the energy right out of ya! Got to pull the rear off the bike, some of its been sold. Infant most of the bikes been sold already so that's pretty good considering I only put the parts up for sale two days ago.

Hope you're having a good one today too mate
