    Gday Guys,
    I've been wanting a Harley ever since I was 15 and promised meself I'd buy one before I turned 45.
    Well I finally bought one on the weekend, Just made it by 2 months.
    It's an 88 Softail with 4"over forks raked tripple trees and also has a Badlander seat fitted.
    It just needs a little tidy up before I can get it registered then I"ll be off cruising the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
    I look forward to reading and contributing to the forums and also I'm looking for a bit of advice on maintenance and doing a few modifications.

    Hi there, welcome mate.  Nice colour by the way, is the paint called cherry black?  A mate of mine has a 74 sporty that looks very similar.

    Thanks Guys. I think it is cherry black. Its looks like a cola sort of colour. The guy I got it off reckons its a custom mix.

    Welcome aboard TJ enjoythe ride, a few parts and a bit of elbow grease and she'll look as good as new bloke, there's a lot of self gratification in completing a project, remember to post up some pics when she's done, cheers bloke.
