I went from a 96" to a 103' stage 4 kit, had the heads ported. only issue, was clutches. now have a barret clutch. haven't had a problem since.

sweet, are all 103 kits a stage 4? I don't really know the upgrading side of Harley engines? I just want a bike with reliability.

08 is a 96 cube with 6 speed box so you can fit 103 slugs. I would go a set of andrews 48-54-57 cams on the first mod and if you want more pull the heads for a 103 kit with headwork. The 103 kit done right will last as long as a 96 cuber as long as you dont go overboard with compression.
