Hi All, I am thinking about getting a shockie airpump and I know HD make a pump ($68) I was wondering if anyone has any other information on alternatives or had purchased any other type of pump that is as good please.

    Thanks in advance.

Mate , I have the Harley pump for the air shocks. Works as advertised. You don't get any air discharge with the Harley pump when you disconnect the hose , and you have the gauge to tell what pressure you are running . I heard some use a cheap kids bike pump, but them you have to work out what air pressure you have. You can search on the net and find something similar and cheaper. Contact Harley Heaven , a sponsor here and see if there cheaper. Personally not worth the messing about, get the HD pump !!

The HD pump is a very neat, small in size and solidly made. Don't bother with a cheap copy.

Why would you bother with a copy to save @ $20? At least with the HD one you are covered with a warranty. If the cheapie breaks, you pay the postage (that's if they will accept it back)

For anyone who hasn't used one before, the pumps are soooo small, but you need to literally pumps once and it goes from 30psi to 50psi in half a pump. It certainly wont wear out quickly.

+1 on the HD pump. Have one, works great and doesn't let air out when you disconnect it!
