Does anyone know which pipe would get me the best from my 120r Dyna. Super trap super meg or D&D Boarzilla.
I'm sure the D&D would give the best performance with the supertrapp coming in a close second but the boarzilla going to be very loud compared to the supertrapp. Its a hard call these days choosing a pipe with the cops cracking down on anyone on a harley and the EPA testing bikes. My pick would be the supertrapp because it can be made to be quiet if needed or opened up to run the 1/4 mile. HD have been running supertrapps on there xr750 race bikes since the 70's and some of the touring mufflers are supertrapps rebadged SE. There's a bottle neck with your 120r having low numbers but not sure its the pipe causing all the problems. May I ask what throttle body is on the 120r.
Dutchy, i've seen a guy with a 124" s&s use a Borzilla then a custom made collector to mount the ST SM Muffler, as he wasnted the horses but not the noise

Both these pipe have stepped headers and are enough pipe for a 120cuber
Thanks everybody for your feed back I will mull it over a bit more. Still couple hundred buck short of buying yet anyway. Hogbag I have the screaming eagle 58mm throttlebody & manifold. Plus larger injectors can't remeber what size.
Dutchy sorry old mate its all above in black and white ^ hate getting old. It can only be one of two things pipe or tune.
It uses some oil. After about 3,000km oil just on tip of stick. Did not think that was excessive. Don't know if that has anything to do with compression rings.
Ando your are probally right mate. Problem for me will be I don't have the money to do much at the moment. Just have to hope for the best.
Ando I think my heads and pistons look like your photos because my sparkplug has that shit all over it.
With Harleys we pay top dollars for very basic technology, you would at least think that it would be quality. Lucky we love our Harley Davidsons because if it was anything else you would not do it. Japanese is probally the smart choice being better at everything and more reliable. I 've had Jap bikes before and liked them. But for some reason I love my Harley warts and all.
