My lovely wife bought me a new speedo for my breakout. The original only displayed speed, rpm and gear or a combination of such depending on how many times you hit the trip button. Also those who have seen a breakout speedo will know that the dial only showed the speed in 20 km/hr increments. So picking what was 50, 70, 90km/hr was hard. No real big problem but it irked me. Well this one shows in one km/hr increments, rpm, time, gear selection and fuel gauge all at the same time.
Fitting it took 15 minutes only because I took the speedo out once cause I couldn't get the screw to start. All you need to do is take two screws out, unplug one plug and move ther rubber gasket to the new speedo. Replace plug and screws and your ready to go. Works a treat and looks good. Speed checks are a quick glance now.
Also if anyone didn't know the speedo marries it's self to the bike after 50 miles just like the race tuners do so if you don't like it after the first 50 miles your stuck with it as you won't be able to sell it. Thanks to my wife I have a great speedo now on the breakout. Now for the exhaust system.
