Hey all, I have the stock bars on my super glide, I've got it booked in for forward controls (ouch) to help out with the cramped positioning as I'm 6'1

but I want some higher bars as well.  I was looking at different types of bars, even apes which Im not sure look that great on the super glide... still undecided. All things

failing that I was thinking about just putting in some risers. (cheaper too) Not a big job at home? Also sure if I'll need new cables.... any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I reckon you propably got an inch or 2 play on the risers before needing to adjust cables, wires etc

If bike new to you i would just ride it for a while to let body adjust to riding position, do a 100km, 200km, 300km, 500km rides to see how it goes

    Thanks

    Thanks Robots,

I have the forward controls going on soon too so I will let all that settle down and see how it feels after some decent rides cos that will change things too.

I reckon Apes will help but forwards will do more for comfort.

My bob had low bars on when I got it, has 15" apes now and is far more comfy but wasn't THAt bad with lower bars.

A superglide will look sweet with apes.

There is enough length in the cables to fit streetbob mini apes. The clutch cable needs re routing only. Four inch curved / straight risers should work ok.

HD 4" curved risers definately fit with no wire or cable mods needed . Pulls the bars back nicely .
