Powder coat no good?

Powdercoating is the way to go, had 3 sets of bars done no problems, they must gave done something wrong. Paint is NOT up to it

I painted the chrome nacelle rattle can black after stone chips started rusting away. Etched the chrome first , undercoat and then sprayed. It turned out ok for me.
