Hi I'm chasing cam upgrade advise for my 2012 Wide Glide it's been fitted with S&S tuned air induction system, stage 1 Screaming Eagle super tuner and V&H long shot exhaust  and I'd like to do a cam upgrade next  and would  love to have  if possible 100hp thanks in advance , James

and I doubt your going to get 100hp with stg 1 + cams. so if 100hp is your goal then you need to start looking at other mods.

Do a search for dyno results and check out the 103's results to get an idea

I've chased the net and I've found that a few cams will get me close even with the standard valve springs and no head work but which to choose is my problem; Woods TW-777, Andrwews 57H, Screaming Eagle 510 or S&S easy start 585 and the tuner can be upgraded

90hp is pretty good and most of the YouTube videos are showing 92 to 95hp from stock 103's with a few add ons so I guess I'll have to get some heads or head work next

If your looking at sheets on the USA sites just bear in mind that for some reason we seem to always have lower numbers on similar builds and on some it is quite a bit. Most people have found that you will not hit the 100hp with std heads on 96 and most 103's.

I understand that and was just saying this is what I'm starting with and would like to build off with what I have, I'm not trying to insult anyone just looking at my next step as there is too much information out there and it's confusing me :0(

Yeh they are like a fan or turbine that aid in forcing air flow into the engine, also S&S have larger throttle bodies in 52 or 58mm which I could add after a cam upgrade and before I get my heads ported

The Screaming Eagle stage 4 kit has CNC heads, 58mm throttle body, 259E cams and 10.5:1 compression. How can I match this similarly in small steps or improve on it?

I am just about finished with a 13 Fatty, using the Reaper 543's (43* Intake Closing) heads to be set at 83cc, 1.9 intake, exhaust ports worked and intake tickled, use a .030" HG and using the Bassini Fireflight 2/2 exhaust, tuned with a TTS

100HP 100+TQ is the expectation, all this has worked out at just over 2k

Yeh I really only want to take steps in stages of around $500 and my riding varies but mostly town and highway travel so I'm looking at 1800 to 5500 there about a rev range

Also any mods I do or get done I don't want my bike layed up for too long I love riding
