Well i was just checking out the results from this past weekend @ sydney dragway.
we can all hold our heads high in here as street bike is strict street class no wheelie bars & a few other rules, & a Sporster top quailified there was a Ducati Darvil & a few Harley big twin 120R's in it as well as Haybusha Kwaka 14 & the rest but they we just good followers cheers
another point i should point out is the index is 10 second flat, as thats as fast as a street bike can go or as quick as they allow at ANDRA track's once you go quicker the bike has to have extra safty gear added & tech inspection the rider has to upgrade there licence & have medical yearly. the sportster ran 10.21 seconds i think it would run 9's as i saw the speed 120mph a 10.20 bike would do 130mph WOT easy so a back off so it does not break out into 9's would drop the speed. the guy races a destroyer in Mod Bike class , if he ran 9's he would be forced into Mod Bike so probably a 9 second sporty ( nothing new ) but still good to stir the twin cam girls up with.

sorry my friend krash is a little bit excited , joe's bike was a destoryer with the wheelie bars off i mean sissy bars , i qualified on pole up against this bike in the 1st qualifer with a 10.303 sec pass on the Fraser 120R Dyna , in the 2nd round he got me right on the finish line i ended up qualifing 2nd, it was a 1 & 2 qualifing for Harleys in the street bike class up against in the mix of other brands still very good work, but i really do not think that the destoryer should have been allowed the run in the street bike class
just goes to show, need to be at track & not look at internet results.
F,ck that was a low move, theuy need to state street bike must ride to track no WHORES ( we haul our ride everywhere ) probably should state need rear shocks that would fix a destroyer quick. but i'll say still possible to get a sporty into low tens just need a rider like Daddyracer56 on it. that would be something hey
10 sec Sportster yes , but it would take a bit of money esp if your not sponsored
