Hi All,
Left the 2004 XL883C without winterising it (always meant to ride it again "next weekend when the weather's better". I now need help getting it back into a rideable state. I've drained the fuel line and carby, pumped a ton of cleaner through it, but no good. Idles OK on full choke but massively backfires and then dies the moment you turn the throttle, even when warmed up (actually, worse when warmed up). Does anyone know someone who can come over (Highton) and get it going without breaking the bank?
