Hi all.  Hopefully not a dumb question.  I picked up a set of red Avon Old School grips.  They're rubber.  Only thing is they look more hot pink than red.  Plus my wheels are a bright red, so doesn't look right.

Can these grips be painted?  Maybe an epoxy paint or something?

Most likely the answer is no...paint will dry too hard. You could try Plasticote, but in all honestly its going to be cheaper to either buy some new ones.

Yeah I hear ya. I just can't find any bright red grips. They claim to be red, but when you seem them in person, they look pink.

Try hippy killer garage. They are in the US, they used to sell all kinds of funky colours. Just google them, they weren't too dear either, and they also used to sell matching foot pegs etc.

I have a set of Flyrite grips in red that I won't be using.

What do they look like in person though? I ordered a set of Avon coke bottles that looked red just like the flyrite ones in pictures. In person they looked pink.

Fairly close the the image, maybe a shade darker. It's all subjective though as we are looking at different monitors.
