Having some hassles finding out what springs should be in my forks, they are way too soft.

Bottoms out on the smallest dip or bump in the road.

Gets the head shakes at 180km,

On inspection the spacer tubes almost 200mm long, springs are extremely short!

Was told it could have a factory lowering kit fitted??????????

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ikon have progressive type fork springs to suit your bike. My 06 dyna was set up the same way and the springs collapsed in the first few weeks. The ikon springs where around $150.00 back in 06 and made a huge improvment on my old dyna. I also replaced the shocks on this bike with ohlins and it handled very well up to 180 K then it had a bit of a weave through corners. The weave can be fixed with a stabilizer from the frame to the gearbox.

Thanks dudes for your advice. I fitted a set of Ikon progressively wound springs, what a huge difference.
Now to save my penny's and get some rear shocks. Sits about 3inch higher with good feel and absolutely no wobbles!

I did a 9hr ride yesterday to be home for Christmas, long day, but the look on the families faces was worth every cramp, every stupid motorist.
Did I mention how much I love riding my bike,,,,,,,,
