Sportster rear tyre, engine mods & V&H pipes.

    G'day, 

         Couple of general questions I was thinking about regarding my bike; a 2013 Sportster Custom.

     

    -Are there many options out there that allow me to place a larger rear tyre on my model of bike? Wider & thicker like a Breakout's for example. If so is there a website out there that covers it?

     

    I have Vance & Hines Slash 3" slip ons, Stage 1 tune & upgraded air filter. I would like to do more.

    -With the same tune would a set of V&H Short Shots have much of a different engine note compared to the Slash 3" slip ons?

    -What other kits / options for engine upgrades are commonly available? Stroker Kits, cam upgrade etc?

    Your answers are more or less what Ive already considered. I plan on upgrading to a larger bike in the near future; the sportsters just my first Harley to 'play' around with for starters. I am looking at the price of toys & add ons for sportsters and am figuring out if it's worth it in the end.
