New here, have just got a Street Bob. Would like to polish the pipes for protection, but dont want them to go blue. Is Autosol going to do the job with out blueing the pipes?

Didn't someone say awhile back that you can spray the inside of the pipe with high temp (the good stuff) paint and that'll stop the discoloration? YMMV

How does a proper tune stop bluing? My track car is tuned by one of the best tuners in the country and my dump pipes are still blue. I was under the impression its just what heat does to stainless etc, or is it something else?
