    Hey Guys,

Just saying hi, picked up a new 2014 sporty sand camo in September first HD. Got fwd ctrls, sreamin eagle exhaust, badlander seat and rear pegs.

Took it for its first 1,600km service bike is running a lot better, next step is to upgrade suspension. Looking at different lengths, do i want to lower it, keep it same or raise it....

Glad to be on the forum

    Cheers

Welcome to the forum art,  you mentioned rear pegs so I asume you will be doing some two up riding, in that case I would not consider lowering the bike.  Hope you post some pictures of your bike on here so we all can have a look?

    Cheers youngblood,

Here are a cple of photos. I'm in two minds of whether I drop the rear and use HD springs to cater for 2up or as to whether I actaully lift the rear using 13' shocks to give it a totally different look. I'm keen on maintaining the rideability hence I udnerstand lowering will slow the steering. I hired a 1200 Sporty in San Fran last month which was sitting quite low think it may have had 11' shocks was a lot of fun but with mid controls but  wasnt the most comfortable position.

Perhaps the 412  12.5' Progressive Standards shocks or the 412 cruise shocks are the way to go but not sure how these will go with 2up.

    Cheers
