I've been reading a lot about the vibration issue in the earlier  switchbacks , , but cannot seem to find to much thats been said about them recently , is it a problem that Harley have sorted in the newer models or is it still there .

Whats  the views of the members who have them

My switchback vibrates at idle and the bars shake at the lights, but then it's supposed to do that it's a Dyna :)

I don't notice any serious vibration at highway speeds however.

Apparently it,s the stock exhaust .Most have aftermarket and don,t notice it .

I have just purchased the latest Switchback and have found no vibration issues. I also hired one in both the USA and NZ neither of which had vibration issues. All three bikes had non standard exhaust systems.

My main problem with the FLD is the buffeting that the stock road screen causes. I am around 5 feet eight inches so a little on the short side. I am trying to find a fix as I prefer to use a screen when touring.

Overall they are a great ride.

I know this is late but I’ve also bought a Switchback and had the same buffeting problem.
I fixed it by extending the lower mount forward by 50mm, thus increasing the windshield angle. It might be too late for you but it may help others buying a used one.
