G'day,
Quick question regarding sportster seats. I'm a massive fan of the look of single seats on sportsters. I want to put the single seat that comes standard on the 48 (low profile solo seat I believe) on my 2013 1200 custom to replace the reduced reach solo seat I currently have on there; but everywhere I've looked and says the low profile seat only fit on 2004-2006 model sportsters with a 4.5 gallon (17lt) tank. Can anyone tell me why that is so? The mounting points look as thought they will fit or have a misread something along the way?
