    Hi all,

Can anyone reccomend the best Australian online store for simple harley spares etc?  All i need is a lifter adjuster lock nut for ironhead.  Is there a good store that stocks this sort of stuff that is reliable and actually carries stock?  Usually when i search for stuff like this i end up trying to buy in Australia but get nothing but stores who say they will email with a quote, then try to charge a fortune and say it will be 4 weeks.  After that i end up buying from the USA.  For example i enquired about a S&S rod tool, its $30 ish in the US and the size of a wrist pin so post isnt much.  Got quotes $110 + post from an aussie store and said it would take weeks.  What a joke!

    Any reccomendations?

    Aaron

Click the sponsors button on the top of the page. Where possible keep the money local to the dealers that support us.

Weird how most import. The only good thing (vs buying online) is you have someone local to go after for warranty purposes.

Harley Heaven does deals on here - check the for sale section (parts and accesories?)  for them.

I've only had good experiences with buying  locally or through our sponsors.  Yea , I've bought on the internet, jackets and accessories from China when the price was to good not to.   I can understand guys that are building motors etc, and are buying parts in the thousands of dollars, and they know what they need , the price savings from buy online overseas can't be sneezed at.   When you get a good relationship going with a good local supplier, your on first  name basis, and he goes out of his way to service you ,   you may be paying say 10 or 15 %  more on say a $200 - 300 item compared to overseas,  personally I'll cope that, just by the fact if I order the wrong part etc,  it normally gets sorted without much drama !!!!     Just my 2 cents worth
