Sportster Frames

    Hi guys,

    Just wondering if there are any differences between the frames on the various Sportster models? ie is the Iron, Custom, 48, 72 and Superlow frame identical within the year of release, with the differnces in models coming from components only, or are the frames totally different.

    I ask this as I'm considering changing the tank on my custom, to something like an iron.

    All 2004 to 2013 Frames are the same

    Sweet.

    Now just need to locate an Iron tank for a decent price. Haent seen any floating around on eBay of late.

    If anyone has a spare one floating round, or knows of a good source, please get intouch.

    I'm guessing the fuel pump should be the same and can be swapped straight over?
