Anyone had experience with using (or making) solid oil lines
I'm looking at making them to use on my custom build as I think it would look way better than just braided lines but am unsure if there is any issues like cracking etc
Would I be right in saying engine wasn't solid mounted and that the lines were from a tank mounted on body of car to the engine which would have some flex under engine torque but in my case I'm thinking my only problem will be vibration as motor, oil filter and oil tank are all solid mounted to frame (oil tank has small rubber mounts) so hopefully wouldn't crack so anyone used solid lines in same situation as I'm wanting to
