Age old question Tires

I have recently put stinger wheels on my fatbob. New rear tire is a Dunlop D402 180/55/18. Good tire except in the wet. The blocky standard tires where much better in the rain especially in the puddles. ( would love it if they made them for new size.)

Anyone out there using anything is this size they think is better in the wet.

    Cheers Dutchy.

    Must be a coincidence!

I was having a discussion with a very good old mate of mine today and he expressed his concern over the same tyre he has on his 2013 Fatbob in wet conditions, the general concencuss (spelling!) he has from his fellow club members was he should have gone with the Mitchies Com II rear tyre as the guys who have the same sled are more than happy with the Mitchie.

It's also a general concensise that the Dulops are Dunflops! Michelin, Metz or Pirelli are what you need.

Thanks Guys. Tire has only 3000kms but will be well worn out by winter. Going to buy commander or pirelli  put in the shed.
