Frame, swing arm and wheels went to be chemically stripped, whip blasted and powder coated today. I ended up going to my local guy with the frame to get the races out; he did it for nothing!! Great blokes!!

So, a brief update. I picked up the engine from LA Cycles today; top and bottom end rebuild, heads ported, polished and decked, new ignition, new pushrods, new rings, pistons, jet kit in the carb and she's painted completely black. Frame will be back on Weds/Thurs next week and then start rebuilding the bike.

Have had a shit load of parts arriving from all parts of the world, the best bit is my 3" belt drive! Always wanted one, really looking forward to seeing it run....................................

I've got parts porn going on in my garage at the moment - just need to get the frame and wheels back from powder so I cant start putting it back together!!

I painted the engine black as well, its not he greatest job but looks much better than what it did previously!

If all goes well, I reckon I'm back on the road by second week of January - hopefully!!!

Run it in and get it tuned properly and see how we go then start looking for another bike..........HAHAHAH

Starting to resemble a bike again.  Have the Tank and rear guard just sitting there for aesthetics and have different wheels to go on but she's coming along nicely! Sorry about the dark photo, just took it and its like 10.30pm so garage light isn't great!!

Apologies gents - I was in Perth working for a month, got back last week and was sent to rural NSW.

Engines in, wiring is almost done, bars done, wheels are on (need new spacers) and there is a few little tidy up bits; I'll post some pics tonight!!

So after a massive hiatus between posts, here is an almost finished update of the lowrider.

Few more bits n pieces and we'll be back on the road.  Had a mate who is a mechanic fix up some wiring, spacing and timing issues but we're almost there!!

I just finished up with a mate, finally worked out the ignition (couldn't get the bike to idle) and we picked up the issue with my mini speedo. Hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll be riding around mid week...............once she's cleaned up and buttoned up, will post a few finalized pictures..................!!
