For all the people that said, oh they wont ask citizens that use two wheel transport to Ring to go for a Ride that wouldn't be right to do that, well have a read QPS Ride Safe Program Good morning, This email is a follow up to a meeting held between legitimate motorcycle clubs and groups with the Honourable Jack Dempsey, MP, the Minister for Police and Community Safety and the Queensland Police Service. I have sent this email to you as either being present or representing legitimate motorcycle clubs in Queensland. It is not an exhaustive list and I am happy for you to distribute the information within your clubs for communication between yourselves and the QPS and forward to other legitimate clubs in Queensland. During the meeting the concept of a web based registration process to afford legitimate motorcycle clubs and groups the opportunity to register their group or club rides with the QPS was raised. The vast majority of representatives present voiced their opinion the initiative had excellent merit. The intention of the voluntary registration process is to open lines of communication with the motorcycling community, provide clubs and groups of riders with up to date information regarding legislation and assist the police in maintaining community safety The Queensland Police Service has provided a process for clubs to register their rides (Ride Safe) through an online portal. I encourage motorcycle clubs to use the link to register your rides. The link is: http://www.police.qld.gov.au/forms/registerride.asp When the ride is registered the information will be sent to the relevant police districts. It is anticipated that you may have some contact with an officer from the local area from which your ride commences. The Queensland Police Service looks forward to working with the legitimate motorcycle clubs in Queensland to ensure your enjoyment of riding safely on our roads. Stuff that for a joke, as if the govt don't already know enough about you already, that you need to tell them when & where you're going for a ride with ya mates or alone. To me it seems as an invasion of privacy & a huge wank. Next thing they'd want to know would be when you plan to do the deed with the missus. Will this type of form need to be completed by other clubs, i.e. car clubs and the like or is this discrimination specific to motorcyclists? Where will this end?? Time to suseed and declare my own territory...
So DP and ND after a month of tellin' all here abouts to ' open their eyes and that they got it all wrong , that the organised nation wide ' ride free protest is wrong , all just uninformed misguided hyperventilating , yous are now providing king Campbell's email and office number , informing all that it's now a ' perfect opportunity for some non-violent 'silent protest , whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean ? We are the civilised ones , Fuck the corrupted Gestapo and discriminating tazer happy infiltrated fucktards ! It's a wonder ya's didn't just post the number for 1800'WHO GIVES A FUCK , but then it's obvious many of us here do , even if we are in different states , it's our country and our rights , fuck reporting to go for a ride , as motorists we don't have to , so why should we as motorcyclists , I think they will get the message loud and clear at 10am on Sunday 1st of December , when many will join their states ' ride free protest to parliament , a great cause and although criticized for being organised for a Sunday , being a weekend should draw more people and not bring too much inconvenience to general public , but will get coverage and will show a voting block of strength , individual motorcyclists standing up as one for their rights and freedoms who are prepared to vote with their feet at future elections and are not just going to swallow their ill thought out bullshit , just as those north of the border are expected to ! Yeah we've all read the posts since these new laws were announced , oh you were only talk in' about your state , O . K , why such argumentative passion 'for the laws of a far away state all the way away in Qld "Australia", that 'apparently don't / won't effect SA motorcyclists , or what people think of them , so long as they don't cross the Qld 'border ? If you can't fathom any 'association of the Gestapo reference to the subject and instead choose to take it as branding all as nazi , your call , but go figure hey , fancy taring all with the one brush , just ask the many along with my great grandfather who lay in the CWGC in Berlin , I'm sure that they 'all (the 'Gestapo) were just following orders too right , didn't stop the devastating atrocities and trampling of ordinary citizens rights and freedoms for realising the sick ideology of the few ! If you want to bend over and fill out one of these as far as I'm concerned you're just a gutless sheep that is basically validating there unjust laws. I'll ride where I want and when i want, I won't be filling out one of these 'permission slips' to do so. And shame on anyone who does and thinks this is some type of sollution or 'silent protest'.
