    G'day guys and ladies,

    I just put a deposit on my first Harley, earlier on this morning - planning to pick it up on Saturday. It's a 2011  Softail Heritage in black. I took it for a ride, and it felt fantastic.

    I don't know much about Harleys but have had motorbikes most of my adult life.

    I've had my fair share of Japanese sports bikes - my last ride being a ZX-14,  and previously a KLR-650 and a Triumph speedmaster.

    I look forward to many long distance rides in the future.

    I'm happy to contribute, but I guess I'll be asking questions.

    Anyhow, Joe is my name, I'm 42 and from western Sydney.
