Lyndall Gold Pads

I've been moaning about the crap brakes on my Deluxe for a while now and under recommendation from some forum members I went out and spent $70 dollars on some Lydall Gold Pads. Installed them on the weekend and went for a good long ride to bed them in. They are worth every cent! There is a real noticable difference in the stopping power and I don't have to squeeze the shit out of my lever to stop anymore. Feel is progressive and around town it's an easy 2 finger action to stop. The more I rode the better they felt, they are a Carbon-Kevlar composition, well pakaged and went sraight on with no fuss. Highly recommended!

and not only do they stop they don't put brake pad dust all over your nice pretty wheels.
Been using them for years and always to put them on any of the mates bikes I work on, they just plain work great

Tim yes Rollies shipping on pads would be high I think due to weight, As far as I know he is the only supplier in Bris, From memory they are about $70 or $80 per set. Not sure if they do them for 6 spots or not as have never looked but they would be more maybe $100 or so, Gold plus is what I use

Also a thing to note is the standard harley rotor, I have always had the shits with Harley crap brakes no feel so they feel very wooden. I dont know why HD dont put dual disks on the front as the weight of the bike is one contributing factor to sub standard braking.

I have changed the standard rotors front and rear on my 2010 Fatboy Lo to the HD floating rotors and they really transform the brakes into a braking system with more feel and better response overall much better braking. I have changed the pads on the front to EBC and the standard HD pads on the rear. Overall the brakes perform so much better. New Rotors were the best contributing factor to the better braking.

Dual disks would be so much better. HD should put the front brakes from the Tourers onto the rest of the range. Not a fan of the saying I dont want dual disks as I cant see the wheel. Stuff the wheel I would rather have better braking. I want brakes to work like they did on my Japanese and Italian bikes but that isnt going to happen on an anitquated Harley

yesyes for these, have them front and rear - really improvement

Also upgraded the stock brake lines to braided SS from HEL performance

Should be a standard "upgrade" from the showroom

Harley spokes are not chromed, they look like chrome but are nickel plated, rims are chromed.

    + 1 for dual disc's
