hi guys im building a custom chopper and im nearly ready to get it inspected by an engineer,i found one in canberra hes name is paul johnson and i just called him to ask him how much he would charge me to inspect the bike and to my surprise he said around $700,i asked him about brake tests and he said about $600.i was quite surprised at how cheap he was compared to the guy in queanbeyan who wanted $6000.that nearly put me of building this bike.i asked the engineer would i need a brake test if im running harley davidson brakes and rotors and he said that i might not need a brake test.i just thought id let you all no that there are still some decent engineers out there that wont cost you a fortune to inspect your bike
