    Hi guys

I went for a ride yesterday on my Fatbob, came into a hard left corner & fauuuukkk!!!  Got the death wobbles existing the corner, I thought it was all over, at this point, with shit trying to exit my anus, I managed to slow down enough to get the bike back on the road. I have heard about True Track & checked previous posts, do these realy work & is there someone is Aus that sells them ???

Your options would be most welcome, also can I do this install myself, please take into account I old & broken after many years of self inflected abuse & one too many high sides.

I run a Sputhe Positrac Stabliser on my FDXF. Does the same job as a TruTrac but in my opinion is better finished and constructed. I bought it direct from Alan Sputhe in the states, he is a great guy to deal with and very helpful. It improved the handling considerably I reckon.

The rear bracket is a bit tricky to install and you need an extra pair of hands to achieve it successfully - word of advice here, for the sake of your relationship do not enlist the wife as I did !!!!! Lol

    Link to install with pics....

It was around $440AUD delivered from memory.

The Sputhe looks a bit more OEM and to my eye appears not as obvious as the TruTrack. Also fitted up with very minor mod with the dyna low mount oil cooler I now run as well. Not sure how a TruTrack would work with the same oil cooler. I reckon they're worth it as they stiffen the feel up heaps and would do it again for sure.

Alan not sure how old your bike is or how many km's on it, but first thing to do is check all mounts and bushings and get the wheels aligned. Check the rear shocks and do the forks, how's the tire condition and pressure? Then do the stabilizer, either one works I used the sputhe.
No point in doing the stabilizer if the rest of the bike is not right your just covering up an issue that will continue to get worse.

Yep you can adjust up everything as much as ya like but nothing will take that wobble mid corner out like a sputhe setup on a dyna. It is the absolute best upgrade you will do to your bike.

Harley's can be ridden hard but they need to be setup right, and this is the first and most low cost step.

I have the True Trac on my 02 Wideglide, it made an awesome difference, got from Makay motorcycles, about $500 all up, but really worth it.

A steering dampner took away the mid corner wobble on my FXR. Now she tracks like she is on rails.

I have the true trac on my fatbob. Love it. Best thing is it doesn't want to follow groves or tram tracks in the road anymore.
