Bought a pair of draggin and had them tailored as they were too long. Now when I sit on the bike they are too short. So suggest don't get them shortened too much :)...

I had my dragon jeans shortened too. But only at the back. Did them on an angle so I was not walking on them. Worked great.

I recently updated the kevlar jeans buying guide. It now has a video showing the difference between kevlar weights & construction. Its focussed around the kevlar hoodie but the same information can be applied for when buying kevlar jeans. I hope it helps.
Kevlar Jean Buying Guide - http://finnmoto.com.au/product-review/buying-guide-protective-motorcycle-kevlar-jeans-australia

Dupont kevlar fibre is sold by the weight. So if a product is really cheap or has a high rrp with big savings price tag I would be asking myself why.
Motorcycle clothing for consumers is really difficult to compare, there are so many variables you will never be able to compare apples with apples. The buying guide will help you set your own standard (Its will be easy to choose once you know exactly what you need/want).

    thank you

Hello to you all, recently i purchased a pair of "Devalo" 100% lined dupont kevlar "blue ocean" 100% cotton comfortable soft jeans and i really mean comfort,(about 4 or 6 colours to choose from i think from memory) MAN what a great fit. Generally a slim fit jean fit me best and these are superb unlike the baggy arsed loose fork and scrote region forever pulling them up into by balls to get my leg over(the bike-not the fat arsed missus) "Draggin" jeans i have whos sizes are also all over the shop, size 36" and ive never been a 36 in anything. The Divalo brand has a snug fitting crotch and arse area and perfect length when riding forward controls again unlike the Draggin jeans which i had turned up 4 inches and 100 bucks cheaper. My waist measurement is a 34" off the dress makers tape and a 32"-81cm jean is perfection..inseam also 32"-81cm the site tells you these measurements to order and are bang on for size.real form fitting. Got em on fleabay for $132-12 bucks delivery.I think they were 30% off,(save them in your watched items for a couple of weeks and they will flick you an email giving you a discount) "motoon2wheels" was the fleabayer i bought them from..have crack at em you wont be sorry.. they dont advertise them as a slim fit but they fit your form the same as "rivers slim fit" jean if you can rock into a local rivers and try em on that would definately guage the size/fit of these jeans for you.. 100% Aramid protective lining- fully recommended by me to you. hope this helps....."fuck" sounds like im a rep or something..im not ,just extremely pleased with formfit and comfort..happy days dudes-rock on Australia...Regards FLIPDOG

From what I have read and heard I would only buy Draggin Jeans.  Now as a matter of interest they are called Drayco in the US.  You may be able to get some off flea bay or J&P cycles for a good price.

Sometimes you get a real bargain on ebay. I was lucky enough to win a pair of cammo dragging jeans for about 76 bucks a couple of years ago.

I Baught some TKD jeans with a full removable liner, very comfortable, little expensive but at least there Aussie made and you can also buy different color and style jeans from them an just zip in your original Kevlar liner,, but realy you can't put a price on your skin I would rather it on me than the road if I come off the bike.

Anyway that's my 2 cents worth

Well my Draggins look like they're about to catch fire from sitting 1" away from my exhaust. Combined with them being a very 90's cut of jeans, and lacking proper knee protector and hip protector pockets (their armour is Velcro), I'm not buying them again.

If you're in WA (not sure if they are elsewhere) I would recommend checking out Wicked Gear.

Got my pair of black kevlar jeans from them a couple years ago at least. They've been through 2 bike write-offs, in which they did their job nicely, as well as some general every day wear and are still in great shape. They were no-where NEAR the price of Draggins etc. but when I compare the actual build quality to my old boy's Draggins, mine seem better put together.

Hey AIHD48, do you find the Draggin K-legs warm to wear?

They sound like wearing thermals ... Though the concept sounds great. I've heard a few people that have them rate em highly.

Anyone here wear leather jeans? I never thought I would be that bloke, but I tried some on the other day, they felt great. Bloody expensive, but I'm seriously considering it.

I alternate between leather and kevlar depending on the weather.

Had the same pair of leather jeans for 20 years treating them with conditioner every year. That's why they're still going and will go another 20. You just have to make sure the stitching is still strong.

If you find the jeans comfortable then buy them. You won't go wrong.

Just for info, what are they?

A company in Scotland called Aero. They do really high end jacket and leather stuff, from casual to great motorcycle jackets. I got a pair on sale, but they were way too big. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on new pair. They custom make it all to your exact measurements. Dear as poison, but I have 3 of their jackets now, and they are really high quality, and are genuine heirloom quality.
