Fired it up & SWMBO came out, asked if I was testing it before changing them over, NO! was my reply, these are the quiet ones, do they get any quieter was her reply, NO! again dear, I said, then why did you swap them over was her question ?

OK seeing I only ran the bike at idle yesterday,  & thought to myself wot a waste of time,  well, today I went for a run & well, umm,  thruster is right, once ya ride it there is a shitload of differance,  the loud bark is gone & yes it is a deeper tone,  I also had to reprogram the fuelpak, there were significant changes on some of the modes  & while I didn't give it a flogging it did run very nicely.

Sooooo if ya are thinking of heading down this path, weelllllll ya might aswell do it, but don't be a knob like me & simply run it & throw in the towel cause it seems to be the same.

Just got my QQ baffles from Big City for my BR's but not yet fitted. Apparently, if you want a little bit less volume then mount them a liitle further up the pipes. Also, it may be possible to fit the new baffles as well as the existing baffles that have been cut in half.

I put them in mine and love the difference, much deeper and more back pressure

No I had the standard baffle which is pretty open, bought the quiet baffles, wrapped a bit more fiberglass around them, modified the heat shields so I can get the retaining screws out without removing the heatshields next time, and fitted cap head retaining bolts rather than the standard dome heads. Plenty of anti seize on those bolts too.
