I bought and now have a Drag Specialties Skull Fender Ornament as per pic, thought it may look good on front fender but after mock mounting Im now not so sure. Its kinda big and bulky and needs two holes drilled into the front fender and when once drilled theres no going back, so cant decide whether to go ahead with mounting. My bike is an 09 Night Train in Vivid Black. What do you think? too tacky?

I went the skull theme for awhile but fucked if would drill holes in my fender if had good paint and sometimes a nice clean bike looks better than a blinged up thing your bike your choice

Nah man, what the hell is that? The night train is bad arse enough on its own without mounting little skully things on it.

Yeah I Get the whole theme thing and no offence to anyone at all but ' Where does it end , not sure I even like it as a poor ' take of a bygone classic era or the kool ol' Indian war head hey , won't make her go any faster , maybe the next fad will include a matching one to bolt to the top of ones skid-lid too , a bit S.O.A too me personally ?

Dont use a long drill bit!

 

Looks good,but I wouldn't drill a fender for it....might look cool in the beer shed or on the tool box?

Straight to the Pool Room ... good conversation piece I reckon with the boys and a few beers , not for the bike ... just my 2 cents worth .

Don't drill. Knock the threads of it and fit with double sided tape, that way when you decide you were right and does look stoopid. Remove it

its actually a pretty cool looking piece with the shroud but its kinda big/bulky and heavier than one wuda thought. Considered the double sided tape bit but that wont work as chrome piece not attached to rubber base and just with edges. But drilling fender is to much a one way street and not inclined to do that.
