Hi guys, I just bought a 2013 fatbob With v&h Pipes, rsd airfilter and screamin eagle pro tuner. Love the bike, goes great but having a problem not so much with the idle, (970rpm) but with The bike not holding revs when you put the clutch in to slow down or stop at corners. It justs dies. Before I take it back to tHe dealer for a check up I was hoping someone may know what the problem is and if its a simple fix or not

Is that 970rpm when cold or hot? I'd think it's a little slow if cold, but if that's when it's hot it sounds okay... I know SFA about the SE pro tuners (or any tuner for that matter), but maybe the mapping sucks shit. Ring ahead and take the bike back, it's what you paid for.

I know I've read this before and I'm 99.9% sure it was a mapping issue - they'd set some idle thing too low.

Sounds like IAC valve symptoms but shouldn't be having trouble yet on a '13 bike

Lots of people have new bike/car problems. All the parts are yet to be tested (individually) so it's not uncommon to find a kink.  Add to that add ons and mapping and that's a lot of variables.

Oh well fatbob went back to dealers today, should have a diagnosis some time tomorrow. The guy that picked it up said definately a computer issue.

Got the big girl back today, didnt play up at all for the mechanic. They data logged and tested and rode it and tested some more. No fault codes no issues or problems to be found. Did the 100km trip home, had a ride around town and the bike is fine. Mechanic said maybe there was a gliche in the system and its sorted itself out. Dont really care just glad to have it back and running nice.

Or maybe they loaded the wrong map originally and didn't want to say it? Maybe, or maybe not..
