Went for short 100k ride out country and got stuck with only 10 kms in reserve not only couldn't get 98 or 95 but got 10 litres of what turns out to be some shitty oily fuel actually smells like diesel !! only got 200 metres before missing smoking up & stopping. Got bike home wondering if I can just drain & flush with fresh fuel or should I go to dealer & get charged the usual big $$.

If it smells like diesel its most likely diesel.is your bike fuel injected or a carby job.i dout you that you have damaged your moter but your injectors may have to be pulled out and cleaned!
Can't blame the servo ( though I will be aware or the Vortex) my own stupid fault trusted what was in the jerry can! I guess I gotta take it on the chin. At least the bikes home, borrowed mates bike trailer and got it home today. Drained tank and added proper fresh BP 98. Took plugs out pressurized fuelTried to start it but no good ! No confidence to start pulling off fuel filter etc so looks like I'm off to the dealer

Good news from dealer though no damage & on the road again. Couple hunchy outa pocket but relieved woohoo
