I just went out to have a look at the dealer to see if they had any 2014 street glides in the showroom - they didn't but said they had a few coming in and were due mid to late December. We got chatting and I told him I am thinking about trading in my Dyna for the new SG...... Offered me an amazing trade in and before you know it we were shaking hands on a deal and I put a deposit down.
In the past 15 years I've owned a softail and a dyna and now I'm getting onto a touring bike. Think I must be getting old!
Now the waiting game.

I`m totally wrapped with my `14 SG, went with the vivid black as it was all that was available at the time.
But i`m really over the moon with it.
The new fairing works as advertised and greatly reduces buffeting, i added a slightly taller shield to mine and went with the HD 7" windsplitter.
I have an 8" and 9" LRS shields heading over here so will try those out and see which works best.

I`m still trying to decide how much to black out on this bike, i have some black alloy art LED turn signals in coming and also have a Performance machine fast air intake in black and chrome.
Think i`ll just put it together slowly and see how far to go with the black.
Nice one , can,t wait for mine . Let us know how you find the different screen heights .
Hey Bjmcg, you can't go wrong with vivid black, and your bike with the black pipes looks killer. Thanks for posting up those comments on the fairing and the screens - always good to learn from others' experience.

I,m 6 '2" , if you,re diff height , one you don,t need I,ll buy from you .
Thanks Graham , but I think the fairing change for 14 model may alter the the screen mounts .
