    Sand paper? What grit? Why?
If they had only done 10ks I wouldn't have touched them but someone wiser than me must have told you to do it

you said sand paper not 2000 wet and dry so I would say get them to a pro to check and maybe a fine hone to restore them. make sure you WASH THEM THOROUGHLY before assembling

I hope you dont take offense to my posting as I'm only wanting to provide constructive advice that I hope will benefit you. Having read a few of your posts with your current and former usernames, in the advice you have sought and the outcomes of your work, maybe it's time to take at least your engine related work to a professional shop.

At least your doing it yourself mate! The key thing is "if in doubt ask!" We just get a little worried here from time to time as no one likes to see folks fuck things up as it gets bloody expensive very quickly (or fatal if you really get it wrong)
