Well I've had enough this build has beat me to death. I give up.
Fired it up for the first 1 minute heat cycle, sounded a bit rattly as expected with the lifters and primary chain, tune is not that good but nothing unexpected.

Turned it off and checked it over and found this mess, surprisefrown angrydevilbroken heart

first it was the left fork leg drain screw leaking because of a dag of chrome, then the right fork because I didn't tighten up the lower bolt, then yesterday I pinched the primary gasket and it fucking leaked like there wasn't a gasket.
But this shit is not my doing I didn't put the cases together, but guess who is going to have to pull the fucking motor out again, buy a another complete gasket kit and fix the fucking thing

Its touch and go with three bond between the cases to much and it can block the oil ways to little can cause oil leaks. Check the breathers on next start up to make sure it's not crank case pressure blowing oil out. Its strange to have that much oil coming out with only a short start up.

finished heat cycling at 1.00am no doubt pissed the neighbors off but why should I be the only one pissed off right. Leaked like an old mole on ever run and stop.
Breathers are working but there is case pressure when you shut it down. The evidence is in watching the bubbles come out with the oil. I doubt any set up would result in neutral pressure, all you got is 2 pissy little holes to handle 2 pistons. The bigger the bore and stroke the worse it will be. Think of 2 strokes how they work.
If I new how to set the end play in the crank I would have done the bottom end myself.
This is my biggest pet hate "FUCKING OIL LEAKS". My second biggest pet hate is redoing work when it should never be necessary. Mistakes happen I know that to well. The bloke that has never made a mistake has never made anything, but this is an area where a mistake is just to costly in money time and reputation. Imagine if it was all done at a shop and they rang you up and said " oh sorry we fucked up your bike will be another week".

That's a damn shame. Always a big worry wondering if something deep down is going to leak.
Yeah I'd be giving it back to the assembler ASAP.
    Good luck bloke

Hey Oz ... hope it gets sorted , hope it wasn`t our friend down Springwood way , that would be a bummer ... a mate has his bike BACK in there now for a leak , hope it`s not a case of him getting to busy and not checking his work or more to the point his offsiders work .

cheers mate no not fred, these things happen but this is the worst place to get a leak and I just can't understand how it would have happened. Not sure what your mates is but if it's anything to do with a seal or O ring unfortunately those happen way to often.
Oil leaks are my No 1 pet hate

Thanks ozy ... yeah nothing worse than a oil leak ... mates was a primary cover leak but when pulled down turned out to be a few others in there ... the boys replaced ALL the seals and gaskets but leaked even worse but I assured my mate that the guys would do the right thing and so far they have ... hasn`t got it back yet so time will tell ... just had me thinking there might of been a pattern ... very glad to know there isn`t as he is one of the easiest guys I have ever dealt with ... and local for me .

so after stripping it down couldn't really see anything to cause the issue. He coated it with bearing BLUE pressed the cases back together and there we go. A very small step in the machining work near the scraper section. 1 run on the mill and all spot on. should have it back together in a day or so.

Word of caution for any one using SE cases for a build. Check the machined mating surfaces.

Sweet that the problem is known now and the fix was simple. I assume that this is all at no charge to you as your not the 'cases man'...

Yea he had been away for a week and I only got to talk with him early today. I just said it's leaking at the case. His response " get the bike to me" sorry mate the motor is out and rocker gear off." well get it all here and I will find the issue and get it right"
Can't ask for more than that.

Tim a bit pissed off when I first seen it as this motor has been a loooonnggg time coming, but things some times happen and now it's looking forward except now the weather looks to have gone to shit.
