Yea, better just do nothing i guess...

give people a better idea and perhaps promote it ? being negative isn't going to solve the problems we face. I recall it was a minority of people in the beginning who managed to stop the franklin damn project in Tassie by being active in their approach to saving their river. I don't know the answer by any means but whinging to ourselves and others aint goin to get the results we want. this protest ride may not be the ultimate answer but surely its a small step in the right direction and perhaps added to further actions of a positive manner may be enough to persuade the government that there is a problem and they ought to change policies to better suit theirs AND our needs.
