Does anyone know if its at all possible to order a new bike in a colour that is listed on the USA website but not the Australian site?

Wanting to order a new bike, bike don't like any of the colours on offer here. The US has a colour "blackened Cayenne sunglo" available on their SGS which is an absolute killer. Would love to get this colour somehow.

Thanks for any advice besides going to the US to buy one!

No go on that one. It is hard enough ordering or getting one in a custom colour that is released in oz. Just ask me how i know.

They don,t bring that many bikes in , and if you want a colour that,s listed here ( other than black ) you could be waiting months . Maybe a paint set is what you,re after .

Rarely , VERY rarely we used to get the HD "Factory Custom " colors ( sorry "colours" ) here in Australia

I had one in 1997 " Quartz Glow and Sandpearl " FXSTC Softail Custom. Both beautiful and unique at the time

Only 5 bikes came to Australia in that colour , and only one to Perth WA .

We had 3 importers then , Frasers , Morgan and Wacker and Peter Stevens , each with a wee bit of "individual swing".

Of late only HD Australia brings in new bikes , less individual input .

Things Re brochure colors can change , I saw "Factory custom " colours at Daytona bike week in March 2011 , and 2 months after we returned to Perth some of the colours just " arrived "

    Worth askin' I suppose ?

A bit late as i got sidetracked but I had already typed it soo here it is.

Every now and again H-D Australia have a custom colour that is available to the Aussie buyers. When on H-D oz website in the various models colours section, occasionally on some models, you will see next to the standard colour range, an extra choice or two. They are considered custom as they are not released mainstream but have to be ordered. At an extra price to i might add. My 2012 ultra was Tequila Sunrise/ H-D orange. There was also a purple/yellow combo also on offer in the ultras in 2012 range, The 2012 fatboy had the same Tequila sunrise/H-D orange choice also on offer for a limited time. The 2012 street bob limited had two colour choice specials also later on in the year and in 2013.
I havent looked this year to see if there is any custom colours available.
    Hope this helps.

    I have NEVER had a black Harley ! I've had variations on blue/grey/white/red/gold , often 2-tone

The closest I've had is my current CVO Springer , which is "Diamond Black and metal grind"

However the "black" is pearlescent and extends to the frame , springer fork legs and oil tank !

In my own opinion , the yearly "factory custom" paint releases are usually something special
