Good to see we are not alone in thinking Qld has it wrong again.
And good to see some positive media.

And we all like a bikie in pink.....funny as fuck.

    1. Dee Madigan says her husband was a "bikie", but did she mean patched member, biker or motorcyclist?
    2. Russell is head of Channel 10 now. They broadcast the MotoGP and take advertising $$$$ from the motorcycle industry.
    3. The fat dude who's face is too small for his oversized head is so full of loathing for the conservatives that he would condemn a cure for SIDS if Campbell Newman announced it.

I think that the context here is that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

I can't help but wonder if all these civil-liberterian types will come out on the side of Law Abiding Firearm Owners next time there is a mass shooting somewhere.

Can you please explain what you mean by this   "I can't help but wonder if all these civil-liberterian types will come out on the side of Law Abiding Firearm Owners next time there is a mass shooting somewhere"

Exactly what it says. Every time someone in Sydney shoots up a house, there are more calls to further restrict the LAFO. It doesn't matter that the perpetrators don't have a shooters license, the firearms are illegal, or that it's illegal to shoot up houses. All those who live within the law are blamed and punished for the misdeeds of the few. And the media and people like Terry O'Gorman are at the front of the rabble screeching the loudest.

No they will possibly just bring in zero tolerance ala the USA and treat everyone as a potential gang banger , shoot first ask questions later type set up , didn't take long for some individuals to abuse the use of tazers when they were introduced , it's all seemingly heading that direction ?
Anyway good to see the current situation being talked about , questioned and debated on TV ?

    Cheers

Scotti, I remember when being a "Gang Banger" was a good thing.

What shits me is , the media , whether on purpose or just out of complete ignorance are more and more adding the word ' Motorcycle before the word ' Gang , even when what they are describing are known 'street or 'race gang crime on a daily basis , without a motorcycle to be seen at all ?
Another ridiculous as it sounds thing is (hate to be alarmist) but it seems if you reside north of the border in Queensland Australia you are now subject to associations , whether it be a group of friends , we have all been to rallies or poker runs , even innocent associations such as HD or HOG itself who advertise being Family , belonging and daring to be different would obviously include many with priors , or websites where people describe kickin mirrors , dangerous riding/driving or radical mods , were used in a law firms explanation of the broadness of these new Laws ?

No more presumption of innocence , 3-6 months first up and then up to 5yrs just for expressing 'what used to be your right to remain silent for fear of further incriminating yourself , the onus is now on you to prove yourself ?

These new Qld VLAD laws ' if I read it right do seem dirty , un Australian and stink when a NSW bloke today got 5yrs 2months for pleading to manslaughter , if a biker having a bad day or cop likewise not having a good one and all the stars align you could be lookin at 15-25yrs depending on ya circumstances and at the discretion of the officer , ya ride possibly confiscated depending , with a fair chance of kissing your home and life as you once knew it goodbye ?
Wouldn't be so bad if 100% of politicians and 100% of plod were squeaking as they walk the line , but we all know ' 100% that that is not the case , dreamtime obviously , and many are found to have crossed the line in some form or another regardless of how irrelevant or justified they personally feel it might be !
Welcome to so called ' Liberal Australia , First they disarm the population , then screw our liberties and freedoms to the wall , while they rape and leach the value and mineral wealth of the land out from under us , for benefit of the few and to the detriment of us all , now it's virtually minority mandatory detention , our Australian Diggers that have fought and died for this country would be Rollin' in their graves !

    Cheers

If you are not a PROVEN member of a declared banned organisation ie. 1 of the 26 named clubs, then the laws don't directly affect you.

Same goes for HOG, Souths Magpies or your grandma's knitting group.

Make youself familiar with your rights and obligations in a traffic stop and if you feel the officer oversteps the mark, make a complaint.

Most important thing to remember is that Facebook meme is most probably bullshit.

Good one Uncle, great post. I usually watch Gruen but I missed this one.

We have the G20 summit in Brisbane next year and these new 'Bikie Laws' are gonna be used to smash protest quick smart.

The Laws are designed to target ANY Group deemed evil by the Qld Government. The 'Bikie' thing just makes it very easy for the Public to understand.

That was a great video. All those people seemed to have it in a Nut Shell.
They would be so helpful in Facing up to Newman for the Prik he is, as well as that imature young Robot Fuktard that is the Attorney General and "Minister for Justice", What a Sham.
Where did they dig that prik up from?
