Gettin closer , have just had " she who must be obeyed " give the O.K. for new bike . Have a tourer exhaust question . Slip ons , or go full exhaust to remove cats from headers . It,s something I have to decide as I want dealer to fit .

Unless you want to stuff around removing cats later, get dealer to fit full exhaust and be done with it. Good luck with new bike

Cool Timmy, Sounds great huh. You knew you would. Go slip ons. Save heaps and decat. That's what i'm doing. End up with the same result but for a little effort, you have more coin to spend on other gadgets and bling.

Another option would be to go with a Fullsac system. It retains the existing heatshields and does away with the cat and the silly valve at the end. With the mufflers it requires a bit of cutting but they still look stock but the cores are changed out. Sounds damn nice too.

Good idea with the full system.

That way if your caught with destroying the environment with noise above 94 decibels, you do the quick change-back to standard (like me), Hale Hitler!!!!

This bike is awesome . Rides so sure footed .1st bike with stereo and I love it , cruising our twisty hills roads with music is really cool . Tried a 7" curved screen yesterday , but am unsure whether better than stock , felt some buffeting at times . Waiting for saddlemen to make pannier lid covers for the 14,s , so have to be careful swinging leg over .Optioned rear crash bar just in case ! Am fitting rear foot boards and putting the rear pegs on front crashbar for highway pegs . May do a boom box upgrade for the amp and louder speakers .Hope the missus doesn,t read this . Exhaust sounds great , and I removed reflectors from fork legs after this shot .

Clocked up over 5000km in 2 weeks , 3700km on our Snowy Run . Best bike I,ve owned . Cruising in a lounge chair , cruise on , and scanning radio or ipod tunes with the touch of a toggle on the handle bars . Spent a few hours coming home yesterday listening to the cricket , scanning different stations as moving through the countryside . Riding through the Snowys and Vic alps , the steering is a lot quicker than my Superglide . Found myself tipping in too early and having a few bites at corners . Have to learn to go into corner deeper, before turning in . Left Adelaide at 1600km and arrived back 5300km . As soon as I pulled up at lights , the motor sounded so      " cammy " , really lumping over . I,ll see if Action can load sound . The rear shocks are not air now and performed really well , no need to change .Didn,t scrape footboards or anything the whole trip . Will post up Snowy Run pics on the interstate rides thread later .

Tis a nice looking ride, did you get a go at the Sundowner seat?

Cruise control is a pissa I reckon.

Are you still thinking about upgrading the sound system?
