Took the demo sundowner seat for a spin today , and she who must be obeyed was impressed . While I was there , I ordered the Boom amp and speaker upgrade . 6.5" speakers and amp mounted in fairing .
Anyone done the speakers in the panniers job ? Another grand .
$300 for ea painted lid , then the speakers and wiring kit to go with it . + fitting ......

Ordered them today (with the mid frame deflectors , more to fill the gap behind motor, as well ) , $195- . Couple weeks from the States .
That,s what everyone says mate , the buffeting comes from under the screen/fairing .At the week end I could feel the blast coming up from around my knees .
Just picked up deflectors . The installation requires removal of indicators to feed wire through the deflector . Question - where is" the wire connector from the signal wire harness " ?

Met a Forum member today as I was leaving Mannum , didn,t catch his name , but rides a Road King .
Too busy riding at the moment Bomber , will try this week . Will post results once a good ride test has been done . What I have done is dial up the rear shock for the correct ride weight .Thought that pre delivery must have set it at average settings . It kept bottoming out coming home from Lascelles , and when checked , had no pre load at all . 16 turns out of 19 later , and bike rides well 2 up now .You done yours ?
So what's the difference between the Klock Werks screen and the HD Wind Splitter screen? They both look very similar to me, and not much difference in price.
Are you getting it from an AU dealer, or from the US? I really like their tank console and would be interested in seeing one close up if possible.
Finally got a chance to fit wind deflectors today . Had to file the plastic wire connector slightly to fit through the deflector hole , otherwise straight forward fitting . Took for short test ride , and yes they work well . Without them the wind at 60km/h coming under fairing would be enough to flick my beard up onto my face . Now , nothing . At 100km/h I used to be able to feel the rush of air coming up , at around my knee area . Now , nothing . So I have eliminated air from underneath Batwing , and can begin to play with screen height to have the air pass over my head , stay tuned .
