Hi All, You've probably copped this request a million times, but......I've just bought my first Harley (MY08 Dyna Superglide). I'm chasing an owners manual and any workshop/service manuals that might be floating around that would be of help to learn a bit more about the bike. Love riding it, but I prefer to understand a bit more about it than just riding it. Cheers in advance all.

US eBay or the boys at Harley Heaven are looking after us quite well with good prices lately

cheers daggs... local dealer was where I was going to head next if no luck here... I can understand charging for a service/workshop manual, and am willing to pay for that, but im also curious if someone has a copy of the original owners manual...

Owners manual will be hard to come by, did you buy it private or through a dealer? I would have wanted that to be included in the sale...

Garlo, get on bookdepository .com. They have manuals and all sorts. Free post and cheap as. I bought a manual for my 98 fxd from hd for $90? I think that's right....good luck.

Thanks for the tip 98superglide. I'll have a sniff around on there. What I would really like to get hold of though is the owners manual. Just so I can understand what I've bought a little better. Sounds like its gonna be a mission. =-]

    Mate,

I've got the same bike 2008 FXD. I went on to US ebay and bought a CD which had the complete HD manual for about $10,00.. You get the CD then download it onto your PC or I've downloaded it to an iPad, so i can look at it in the garage.

Its been really usefiull as its got a step by step instructions for absolutly everthing you could want to do. Dont go for a Haynes or Clymer as they are not nearly as good.

    Cheers

cheers Galloway, I bought the workshop manual on disc too.. cost $18 from Melbourne, but has nothing in it about the alarm system etc, so I was chasing up the owners manual to see what else is hiding in there that I don't know about. Just ordered one from HD today, so theres $25 out the window lol..
