what's the choice of sinthetic oil at the moment

I've used Mobil V Twin right after the first service from new on my 06 Softail, pulled it down at 130000+ and hardly a mark inside.
Oil change every 5000k's
Pulled it down before something did go wrong out in the middle of no where

Mobil VTwin and Seafoam!

hey soft09, that was my first question when i joined the forum. i was told in no uncertain terms the subject had been done to death many times before and i should use the search thing and check it all out. i still dont know how to do a search on this site for something specific. can anybody help us computer stupid people how to search on the oil threads please? or any other specific search for that matter. for what its worth softy my opinion is if you change your oil regularly, any decent oil will do the job. if your a lazy bastard (like me) then you might get a little peace of mind by putting in the dearest you beaute synthetic stuff you can afford and never bother with it again. just top it up when it needs it.i did that in my car and it purrs like a kitten 7 years later. from what i have read here nobody has actually recommended an oil that doesnt work. i just noticed you signed off as smokey so you might have to put in a heavy HP gear oil in and wait for it to blow up. ps dont use the extra vigin olive oil
