No that's way too dear, what motor are you putting back in your bike? Won't it be a factory 103 with auto releases standard?

Ok, I reckon that price is way over the top, at worst you could buy the necessary drill/tap jig and do the job your self or get who ever is porting your heads to do it OR do what I did as I wasn't touching my heads yet and get S&S Easystart cams.
I swear by them, my 585's are perfect for my build

    Cheers

Hey Rod, quick question. Are the deck heights a pos or a neg. IE .008" above or .008"'below the Top of the cylinders.

leave the deck height values at zero, youre only guessing until the engine goes together.
30 thou HG is beneficial when pistons are down the hole, 45 thou HG is beneficial when pistons are proud. Cam manufacturers will recommend what comp is ideal for their respect grind.
These are only some of the many things to consider when compiling parts to put an engine together.
That fact that you admitted you "have no fucking idea", may be your saving grace, then, maybe not either.
Plenty of people on here to help steer you away from the jumper cables. LOL

Hi Rod, Carbon man answered what essentially was the reason why i was asking. You wont know what your true deck height is untill the pistons and cylinders are on, and nipped into the cases with bits of plastic pipe holding them down to get the true measure. Only then you can decide on a the right thickness HG.
