I'm buying a MY14 FXDB this week the dealer is installing a 2up seat (sundowner) and pegs for me. Should I want to swap back to the original solo seat on a regular basis, is this possible (and easy)? Thanks for any guidance received.

I swap seats all the time . Buy the Harley thumb screw ,no tools needed then .

used to swap seats all the time... now have a Mustang Solo and Mustang Pillion Seat... so easy to fit the Pillion seat.

    Some pointers

    - make sure any rubber pads are fitted to the Sundowner Seat and not the fender if they are required

    - leave the retaining nut used by the solo seat and fit a new retaining nut for the Sundowner, otherwise you will be continually moving. Doesn't take long to move just a pain. I have a fender bib that is held on by the screw used for the pillion (also Sundowner) seat, but you can just leave the thumb screw in there if you want. I put the Pillion Sear over the fender bib.

    Hope this helps

Yep got the nylon washer. Never used to come loose but a prick of a thing now so went back to the phillips head.

I'll grab another one next time at the HD shop & see if it's any different.
