New forum editor installed

    I've installed an updated version of the forum editor which should address some issues:

    - Should now work fine in latest Google Chrome browser

    - Smiley window should now work in all browsers.  (I've still got to add some more smileys to it, but it should work).

    Works ok so far, site also seems to be faster...... i havt used alot of the new editor yet but so far so good.

    KC, can you make the forum auto change a picture to only a link when quoted, as i have seen a few threads with the same picture filling a page or 2 as it has been quoted many times.

    i hear what your saying, but i think most dont know or CBF doing that...it make the forum very messy at times.... just saying. Maybe do a trial run of it and take a vote? i personally think it'll be fine as long as there is a direct link to the said picture.

    Anyone having issues editing a post using Android phone?

    I've got access to an Android phone again, so I'll do some investigation tonight.  I suspect the problem will be with the default browser on some Android phones.  An easy solution might be to use Chrome or Firefox on those phones.

    Just downloaded both Firefox and Chrome and still no go. I use/prefer Dolphin Browser on my Galaxy S3.

    Edited this post on desktop PC and it works fine using FF.

    Did the same thing myself and no go on either browser. There's a couple of potential fixes I've read about, I'll need to look into those.

    much better on my Mac although when i do a "add reply" i dont see no curser, but its a non issue considering all the things that have now been "fixed". Much happier, if only we could get this forum to be a bit faster....

    I've done some investigating regards the Android issue and the problem is with the Android phone browsers Java support or lack of Java support for certain things.  They may fix it, but I'm still chasing up a fix at this end.  Can't promise when it will happen.
