Been in cairns for a couple of months working,  done a fair bit of riding and got a fair bit of rain over the 2 months. Done a few thousand k's so i done my usual oil changes and discovered the oil in my tranny was milky, was wondering if anyone has had this problem before ?

Have seen it in a mates softy after a weeks wet riding on the east coast. Not too much to worry about really, change and ride on.

Milky oil is normally caused by water/moisture so just change it out and your good to go. Typically caused by short trips that do not allow the oil to heat up enough to evaporate the moisture.

Not at the moment but i will be back in about 3 weeks, have some more work to do up there, but more to the point my bike is sitting at a mates place up there and i am getting a bit edgy not being on her.
