    Hello Forum

I have just had a race tuner and a Hi Flow (K&N) air filter fitter to my 07 Fatboy. I have a set of S&S mufflers hanging off the back.

I am yet to give it a run on the dyno to see what the power and torque increase is.

Can someone on the forum post the original power and torque data off a dyno or perhaps point me in the correct direction to obtain the information.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. I an more than happy with the increase in torque and h/p the bike does seem to run a little cooler. Really appreciate the figures, I will post the dyno figures once I get time to find a Dyno somewhere.

Appreciate the feedback karlrockdrain, great forum !

    karl,

I have a new cleaner and PC111 going on next week.

I have installed the V&H Big R pipes and I'm sure the bike is running cooler with just the pipes..Is that posible ?

It sure felt cooler on my leg

I do not know if the bike would run cooler. I guess the more fuel you put in the cooler it has got to run. I have a mate who is into drag racing and he keeps stabbing at the throttle to "push more" fuel through the engine, he said it cools but I am not so sure, he is a petrol head !

All in all I do not notice the bike runs cooler but it does have more power and torque than stock. I opted for the slip on S&S mufflers as to keep the bike with the original style and lines.

I am pleased with the bike overall but the rear tyre $usks, I can not wait to burn the Dunlop out and get something decent.

What's wrong with the stock rubber ? ?

I just find the stock dunlop to be a bit slippery for my riding style. I enjoy to lay the bike over a bit and twist the right hand a bit coming out of the corners. I know all tyres are different and have different properties ect, but for me the Dunlop does not suit my riding style. No bother but, might as well wear it out before trying something else.

Thanks for the advice with the tyres. I will give them a go when i burn up the dunlop.

Excuse my ignorance but what is SERT ?

I have now got the bike booked in for a dyno run, so after I get it done I will post the figures on the forum.

I told my boss I needed tomorrow off, he did not ask what for so in the bike goes for it's dyno run. I will post the figures soon.

Yep it is a screaming eagle race tuner. I have just been told that my dyno run is cancelled. Will try some other shops and let you all know.

    Hi Guys

Finally I got the figues back, and are as posted. The figures are no crap either !!

The bike is not a rocket but it goes a lot nicer now, twist and listen...

Three runs on the dyno resulting in a average of 67.99 HP and 77.04 LB Torque.

Now it is off to the shop after Xmas

    Merry Christmas everyone, great forum.

    Drink and Polish, not ride.
