Just wanted to show the new purchase...2008 Road King

Always had Softails in the past , always stripped down always fat tyre kits stroked motors and dumped on their ass with custom fiberglass seats ,all were good for approx 100ks before my ass said no more.

I must admit I didn't know what I was missing. Rode it home from Wagga Wagga to Albury (bumpy shit of a road) Got off like I went down the shop and back.

Public holiday Monday ,went for a ride of 430ks ....still got off fresh.

First time ever ridden with bags , apes and floor boards ......but holly shit what a difference.

and a very nice looking bike to change to.
Yes I just changed to a tourer a few weeks ago and it sure is a hell of a nice way to go for a ride.

Did the same recently myself. Although I'm a few years off forty I love the look of the baggers. Did that start life as a road king classic?

Looking for an 80 spoke 21" wheel, reckon they look great on the tourers.

Yep it is a classic, didn't go much on the leather bags.

What a great looking ride I wander if I can wave the magic wand over my glide and change it into a mean looking cool ride like that one but it is for sale now due to illness so I will dream for now . Ride proud .
